Classic moss slippers

Hello, folks,
and welcome to my new blog. My new blog about MY BOOK. Yikes! I feel all nervous and excited.

It's taken such a long time to get here. Although I've previously shared some of these drawings, on my other drawing blog, I've felt the need to start this new separate blog for some time. There are many reasons why I came to that conclusion and I'll tell you all about them soon. But today I just needed to make a start. Instead of putting it off 'until tomorrow'. You know, the mythical tomorrow when you actually get around to doing all those things you've been putting off.

Please be patient while I get this blog up and running. One of the reasons I've been putting it off for so long is that it just seemed such a big undertaking - the whole building of a new blog, setting out my objectives, etc. Anyway, over the next few posts I'm going to explain why I've decided to go down this route. And, THEN I can start telling you the story. The story of how I came to meet the woodland folk and ended up documenting their lives.

I hope you'll join me on this trip.

  5. Andrea...have you ever considered doing a book like the 70's classic "Gnomes"? It seems like that would fit your style perfectly...

  12. I love the slippers! They really do look as though they're made of moss. Also love the sizes. Brilliant work. I want to touch them!

Now, onto this blog of yours. What would be good is if there was an illustrated 'button' we could put on our blogs so that people could click on it to come to yours.

"Ooo, what's this little button?", they'll say. "Looks intriguing. What does it say? 'I read a book on a blog'? I keep seeing that button places. I want to find out more..." Click.

    Or something like that.
