Docks - a popular pixie boot

When I finally get around to finally sharing this book with you, you'll see that there are two different styles of drawing. There are some finished, polished pieces; the kind of drawings I created at the Research HQ (my kitchen table), from reference material and things that I borrowed from the little folk. And, then there's sketches; drawings and field notes I made while out on location. Sketched in the woods, with anyone who'd care to model for me. Just like these boots, in fact.

Thanks to Little Eadie.

  11. There was a post in my reader that said "would you buy this book?" but when I clicked over to comment, the post wasn't here. Just wanted to say HELL YEAH I'd buy this book. I have a three year old niece who'd love to read this (never mind that she'd have to fight her old auntie for reading rights). :-)

  12. Thanks, folks.

Yeah, Lil, I've been trying to find a way of making a page that accepts comments, so that people can say 'yes, I'd buy this book'. I think, with a little help form some friends, I have finally worked out how to do it. It'll be up tomorrow so please come back and add your name to the list (it won't be legally binding!)

Thank you all (hopefully these will one day be available in human sizes).

  13. Why not "Dox"? Sounds cuter for a pixie boot...

  14. Anonymous, I think you are right. It does sound nicer. However, it's a bit late for these drawings.

Might just pinch it at a later date. This is all work in progress. Thanx!
